Dennis Behreandt Joins The Moral Liberal

Dennis Behreandt

By Steve Farrell

The Moral Liberal is pleased to announce that Dennis Behreandt has accepted an invitation to join the staff of The Moral Liberal as a contributing editor.

Mr Behreandt began his career in forestry, working in the northwoods of Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. As an undergraduate, he earned a degree in history with a minor in biology and has since studied at the graduate level in Catholic theology.

He has been a long-time contributor to The New American magazine, writing hundreds of articles on subjects ranging from natural theology to history and from science and technology to philosophy. His work has also appeared at LewRockwell.com and elsewhere.

Mr. Behreandt’s research interests include the period of late antiquity in European history as well as Medieval and Renaissance history. As an editor, he has worked as Head Editor for a small book publishing firm and formerly served as Managing Editor for The New American magazine.

At present, Mr. Behreandt serves as Web Editor for the John Birch Society. When not reading or writing, he spends his time with his wife Denise restoring an arts and crafts period bungalow home or, weather permitting, in his boat chasing a variety of game fish. He also blogs at at DennisBehreandt.com.

The Moral Liberal, which refers to the American Founders’ classical liberalism (not modern liberalism), is dedicated to defending the Judeo-Christian ethic, limited government, and the American Constitution. Dennis Behreandt fits right in with this mission and will make a valuable contribution to an already star-studded staff of contributors.

Notice: We encourage our writers & readers to focus their comments on principles & issues (pro and con) rather than on personal character attacks or party against party politics; and to point to solutions where possible. Ugly, emotional comments (especially profanity) are discouraged, will be edited or removed, and may lead to the permanent removal of its author from our community of friends. As a private enterprise we claim the right of offering something unique in politics. Please help us keep it that way. If you feel any writer or community member is consistently violating this standard, please let me know. -- Best to you, Steve Farrell, Editor In Chief
